baring it all can be frightening 

but I think I feel safe here

I feel safe and free

so I stand here listening to the soul of my body

while still somewhat protecting its peace

I want to dance in every inch of who I am

and I’m slowly embracing this naked truth

It’s in my hips

It flows from my lips

It radiates from my perseverance....

even though you can’t always see it at first glance

I realized…. true power lies somewhere between self and perspective.  It’s up to me to look within and take control of what I thought they had stole from me

but It’s no longer about “they”, and IS about finding the strength in ME
