Vanessa Hobson

Hi! Just sharing a bit of info about myself for those who don’t know me personally. I’m a Chicago native, raised in the city's south suburbs. I’ve lived in several of America's major cities, but found myself back in Chicago where my heart is rooted. Throughout my life-long dance training and professional background in TV production and Advertising, I have always been passionate about communicating through art. I’ve had the pleasure of working with brands like Facebook, McDonald’s, E! News, Nickelodeon, Rock The Vote, Vans, and Bud Light. Growing up with a twin sister, my life has always been a balancing act between uniformity and individuality which made me the person I am today. During college, I learned that my passion and strength is in writing but I never seriously explored it until I started The Outsiders.  I am dedicated to using this blog as a creative outlet — a space to get accustomed to being outside of my comfort zone, and I hope to connect with others along the way. I am eternally ambitious and truly believe "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
